Dot NET Domain Name Registrations

When the Dot NET gTLD was initially set up in 1985, together with the first domain extensions on the World Wide Web, it was supposed to be used by Internet Service Providers or infrastructure firms. Because there were no specific prerequisites about the usage of the top-level domain extension, though, .NET domains were secured and used for various purposes and by quite a few people. This TLD represents a perfect alternative to .COM, particularly if the necessary domain with the latter domain extension is not available for registration.
